- Page banners can be found in the page options section.
- Make sure that the slider page banner section is selected in the left menu, and make sure that slider page banner is checked to show. From there, the banner type can be changed from a standard image banner, through to a slider carousel, video background, or solid color.
- Each banner type will have its own list of settings. In example, if we select the video background banner, we are then presented with a list of settings that are appropriate for that banner type. Things like adding text overlays, adding buttons, and adding the YouTube or Vimeo URL link to the video that you want to display.
If your video is not hosted with YouTube or Vimeo, you can add it manually using the background video file option.
It’s important to be mindful that the size of your video file can greatly impact the loading time of your page. We don’t recommend uploading a video file into the site that is bigger than 10mb.
We recommend using YouTube or Vimeo where possible, as this is the fastest method of loading videos on a page.
